The 2025 Smithtown IAB Women’s Leadership Conference was a huge success as over 30 professional women inspired and mentored over 70 mostly female students, empowering them for their future!
Held at High School West, more than 25 breakout sessions had students meeting one on one with our mentors, who were more than impressed with our young adults.
“I feel fortunate to have met the young women I’ve met today, because it gave great hope to the future of this country, for these women to empower and lead,” said keynote speaker, Mae Caime (Amaezing Midlife & Beyond).
“The commitment of the Smithtown 野花社区视频 School District to empower young ladies today, is to be set as an example for other districts to follow,” she added.
Felicia Kasow, Director of Pure Mammography, also heaped praise amongst our students.
“The kids I’m meeting with today are incredible and an inspiration. I can’t believe where they’re at academically and when they’re going,” Kasow added.

As always, thank you to Smithtown IAB Executive Director Phil Como for organizing career awareness programs throughout the year in conjunction with the members of the Smithtown IAB, Jaclyn Grebosz, FCS teacher and FCCLA club advisor for having her event planning student team “FLIP” help plan this event, and to SCSD CTE Department, Christine LoFrese.
