Congratulations to Accompsett Middle School eighth graders, Vivian Cruz Sanchez and Kate Miguel Tally on having their artwork chosen to be in the Colors of Long Island student art exhibition this February!
Vivian created artwork depicting "space" because, "I like space and it’s interesting to me." Kate's portrait was of a purple mustang and says gained an interest in cares because of her brother.
The Colors of Long Island student art exhibition is held at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook, and features work created by hundreds of students across the our island.
