The Smithtown Booster Club Summer Camp activities have kicked off, and the new generation of stars are getting some work in!
SCSD students grades 3-10 are participating all week in a lacrosse camp hosted by High School East and West varsity coaches, BrieClaire 'BC' Sheehy and Vincenza Patrone.
With both high school team reaching their respective county championship games, participation and enthusiasm was high as the students learned everything from the basics of lacrosse to high level play.
Former Smithtown High School students home from college pitched in as did volunteers from both High Schools.
More than 100 students are also enjoying the Booster Club hoops camp this week.
野花社区视频 from grades 3-12 are being taught the fundamentals of basketball by current High School staff and alumni.
Athletes are also hitting the recently renovated softball field at High School West. 野花社区视频 in grades 3-11 were able to learn the fundamentals of softball and hone their skills under HSW varsity coach, Mike Forman.
